Luther Springs is located on more than 350 acres just east of Gainesville, Florida. This retreat center and camp features 12 hotel style rooms, 6 family hotel style rooms, four cabins, RV rings and a campground. With shoreline on Vause Lake, canoeing and other watersports are available. A beautiful swimming pool, archery course, and group interaction course are also available onsite. Luther Springs Programs

  • Summer - Luther Springs offers a variety of summer experiences for youth and youth groups. Entering into a Christ-centered community, campers learn about themselves and others through Bible reflection, discussion groups, servant projects, and recreational activities. Youth campers are assigned to a counselor with a small group of other, same-age youth. Activities may include swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, group games, environmental education, and singing.
  • Year Round - Luther Springs year-round programming is designed to give each participant an experience of living in a Christian community, built on caring, trust and forgiveness. We hope to offer meaningful and fun experiences for adults and youth to encounter God and others in a retreat setting. Having experienced such an amazing testament to God’s love, participants return home energized with the knowledge that our broken world can show us a glimpse of unconditional love through the love and fellowship of others.
  • Youth - experience faith formation at all ages throughout the year.  Study the catechism during a Confirmation Retreat, get a taste of summer in a Trailblazer weekend, or canoe down the river during a River Rat Ramble.  As schedules get so busy for youth today, time away to focus on faith is more important than ever which is what makes these programs so important.
  • Adults - enjoy the refreshing escape from the hussel and bussel of everyday life.  Immerse yourself in Christian fellowship and enjoy warmer temperatures and comfortable facilities.  Adults looking to enhance a skill like quilting or scrapbooking or simply looking to find Christian friendship on the journey through life will benefit from time away at Luther Springs programs.

Lodging & Meeting

Luther Springs was designed to accommodate a wide variety of groups throughout the year.  Meeting spaces can provide for up to 150, and 96 can sleep at Luther Springs comfortably.  Housing possibilities range from campground-style for RVs or tents to hotel-style rooms with private baths.  All indoor spaces have been built in the last fifteen years, so are new, comfortable, and convenient. Housing facilities also offer social areas like fire places, outdoor fire rings, picnic tables, and gathering rooms.

Food Service

Luther Springs puts on a spread!  Meals are youth-friendly during the summer and customizable for groups of all sizes.  During the non-summer meals are adult friendly and include balanced nutrition.  Luther Springs dining staff can accommodate most special diets and allergies.

Local Attractions

If warmer climates are what you’re hoping to escape to, or if you’re looking to canoe down a river and watch one of the hundreds of species of birds at the Paynes Prairie State Park, Luther Springs has plenty to offer.  Near Gainesville, Luther Springs is in close proximity to museums and wildlife while still only an hour and a half from the coast!
