Joy Coe Hired to Seek Out Retreat Rentals for NovusWay Sites

Joy Coe was recently hired to help Lutheridge, Lutherock, and Lutheranch become more intentional in serving non-traditional retreat groups.

Lutheranch is located just one hour west of Atlanta off of I-20 in Tallapoosa, Georgia. Featuring 519 acres, this newly acquired site is still under development. The Holy Trinity Retreat Center is available and includes two meeting rooms and 8 bedrooms. The Standing on the Promise Campaign is raising funds to build a retreat center to serve up to 80 adult guests at a time. Directions to Lutheranch can be found here. Lutheranch Update:

Thanks to the generosity of William Stender, Jr., Huntsville, Alabama, the 80-acre campus that is being developed will be named the Stender Campus. The Lake Stender Worship Area will be dedicated in memory of the Rev. William and Roberta Stender and will be dedicated on March 12, 2016.

Thanks also to a gift from Ms. Arolue Flemmen-Prater, Atlanta, Georgia, and the altar that was gifted from St. Timothy Lutheran Church, Forest Park, Georgia. The “St. Timothy Memorial Outdoor Chapel” will be dedicated on the same day. We’ve also received a pledge to build a multi-purpose recreation field, so we are making great progress and there is much to celebrate!

Lutheranch Programs

  • Youth - Programs for youth will be developed in the near future.
  • Adult - Programs for adults will be offered when the new Adult Retreat Center is constructed. In the meantime, the site is available for you to conduct your own programs.
  • Family - Programs for families will be offered when the new Adult Retreat Center is constructed. In the meantime, the site is available for you to conduct your own family programs at Lutheranch.

Lutheranch Tour

Lodging & Meeting

Guest groups enjoy fellowship and comfort in the Holy Trinity House.  A full kitchen facilitates meal preparation and a gathering area and screened porch make groups feel at home.

Food Service

The Holy Trinity House has a kitchen and guests are invited to cook their own meals at this time.

Local Attractions

Lutheranch is located on I-20 between Atlanta and Birmingham (just an hour from Atlanta).  There is a nearby bike path, but most people choose to come to Lutheranch to escape the busyness of the metro areas.

Special gift needs

People from across the country choose to make special gifts to keep the ministry strong. Annual fund gifts provide the support needed to keep fees low, provide scholarships, and launch new programs. Special giving opportunities are available now at Lutheranch as we seek to build the new Adult Retreat Center and to pay off the remaining debt on the land acquisition.
