Crossing Cluster Celebrates 10 Years with Lutherock

With nearly 60 years of ministry under its belt, Lutherock, one of the four sites of NovusWay Ministries, has touched the lives of thousands, and some of these guests have been visiting every summer for DECADES. Every summer, many Lutheran churches across the southeast choose to take their confirmation classes to a NovusWay camp for a new, fun environment in which to teach. Lutherock is also unique in offering a week of adventure opportunities for confirmands to bond with their classes, pastors, and other church’s confirmation classes as well. The Crossing Cluster is a group that visits Lutherock EVERY summer including Good Shepard Lutheran Church- Columbia, Grace Lutheran Church- Rock Hill, Mount Harmon Lutheran Church- West Columbia, St. Luke’s Lutheran Church-Prosperity, Breath of Life Lutheran Church- Blythewood, and Wittenburg Lutheran Church- Leesville, churches from all over South Carolina.

During the week of June 21-27, 2015, the Crossing Cluster celebrated their 10th summer with Lutherock!  Pastor Paul Wollner, pastor of Good Shepard Lutheran Church in Columbia, South Carolina, exclaimed, “There is NO substitute for what this place offers in the way of faith formation.” Thank you, Crossing Cluster, for sharing so many of your confirmands with us over the years. You are such a valuable part of the Lutherock Family.  Keep working on those patches!
